NASHVILLE, TENN. – Big Loud’s country songstress Ashley Cooke “stakes out her own artistic turf” (Billboard) at country radio as her single “your place” storms into the Top 20 after just 10 weeks on the chart, marking a first for Cooke. As the standout track from her critically acclaimed debut album (shot in the dark) continues to soar Cooke to new heights, she releases an all-new performance video, dubbed Diner Sessions, for the “feel good, I don’t need you anthem” (Holler). The new video comes as “your place” dominates the charts as the Top 10 most added song on country radio – including No. 1 most-added on its Dec. 10 impact date – for seven consecutive weeks. The song continues its 10-week uptrend in Shazams with nearly 20,000 U.S. tags this week alone and over 28M streams to date.
Released today, Cooke performs a stripped-down, acoustic version of the emotionally charged breakup track at Nashville’s Wendell Smith’s Restaurant. Directed by Justin Clough, the video serves as the first of six Diner Sessions to come as she revitalizes some of her debut album’s biggest hits. The performance video follows the release of the official music video that highlighted Cooke’s autobiographical journey of moving forward and reclaiming her independence after a toxic breakup.
